Dyneema® is manufactured at two principal locations: Heerlen in the Netherlands and Greenville, North Carolina in the United States.

The fiber was first used for industrial gloves by the European auto industry in the mid 1990s. Today, Dyneema® is used in gloves across many different industries, including automotive, glass and paper, emergency services, appliance manufacturing, steel works, food production and construction.

Altogether there are nearly 200 types of branded gloves bearing our ingredient and available in many different styles.

DSM is not a glove maker, but we do work very closely with the entire value chain - from companies and distributors to glove manufacturers.
