Performance Standards

There are two global performance standards for measuring cut resistance. These standards are to be used as a guide, and the gloves that are utilized are ultimately the responsibility of the end user. Also, it's important to remember that these standards don't necessarily correspond.

North American performance standards

The ASTM F1790 '97 and 05 standards - as well as ISO 13997 evaluate cut resistance under a unique set of test conditions for North America. Read more

Standard EN388 is used in Europe, APAC, South America, Mexico - and even some parts of North America. Read more
